Congratulations to Ayiana Maikowski for being selected as this year’s recipient of the Connecticut Association of Schools Celebration of the Arts award, which is given to an outstanding fourth grade student in the area of visual arts. Ayianna will be honored in February, at the Aqua Turf in Southington. Congratulations!
We have been gearing up for our annual art show. Please continue to save recycled supplies for the art room for our sculpture unit. If you have something unique that you regularly buy, that’s not on the list and you think we could use in the art room, please send me an email. jgranucci@rsd17.org Space is limited for storage, so it would be best to check first. Be sure to make sure all recycled supplies are washed out before sending to school. J
