Here are a few examples from some of my Burr School students that finished up their still life oil pastel paintings.
Notes from Mr. GranucciOur fourth grade students have been working with oil pastels and watercolors in art class. They have been learning about how artists show color values by layering and blending colors to create objects that look 3-dimensional. Here is a small sampling of the finished works of art they created. I think they did an amazing job!
Notes from Mr. GranucciOur Pre-School friends had a great time painting Fall leaves. What a great job they did!
Notes from the art roomOur fourth grade students had an opportunity to try their drawing skills outdoors today. We were lucky to have a ninety year old Marmon visit the school for the kids to draw for a landscape project. The kids had a blast getting to work outside and enjoyed learning a little bit of history behind this cool car. I can't wait to see the finished landscape examples in a few weeks.
