Notes from Mr. Granucci, in the Burr School Art Room
The Burr District Elementary School Annual Art Show will be Wednesday May 3, from 6:30 – 8:00 in the evening. Please remember to mark your calendars. The cafeteria and the hallways will be set up as an art gallery. I know you will be impressed with what your child has created this year as many projects, both 2-D and 3-D; is put on display. I hope you will make every effort to bring the whole family and friends on that night.
WANTED:
I have only had a few parents volunteer to help hang the art show next Tuesday May 2nd. I could use another 12 parents or more. Please consider helping us. Without your help all artwork may not get hung in time. Please, If any parent would like to help with hanging artwork for the art show, or taking down the art work after the art show, you can e-mail me at: [email protected]., or reply at the end of this newsletter return slip. No need to reply if you already have. We will be hanging pictures and setting up for the show on Tuesday May 2, starting at 8:30am. It is extremely important that we have parental help with this task. We will start taking down the show the week of May 8th. It doesn’t have to come down all at once; A few hours anytime during that week would be appreciated. Help will be needed separating, sorting, and delivering the artwork to the classrooms. Please consider helping out with our art show this year. The children are so excited about showing off their work. If you think you could assist in any way, please send in the reply at the bottom of this notice.
